Arvind Kejriwal likely to come out of Tihar jail by noon, ED approaches High Court

New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will not be able to come out of jail immediately today. After the intervention of the ED, the Delhi High Court has halted his bail (Arvind Kejriwal Bail) till the hearing on the case is completed.

The Rouse Avenue court had on Thursday granted regular bail to Kejriwal on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.

He was going to get out of jail today. But before he came out, the ED reached the Delhi High Court. The ED opposed his bail, saying that he has not yet received a copy of the trial court’s order.

Kejriwal is likely to walk out of the jail in the afternoon, sources said.
