Captain Sandeep Sandhu nominates in Rs 65 lakh street light scam

Spread the News

Punjab Congress general secretary Captain Sandeep Sandhu, who was OSD to former Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, has been named by the Vigilance Bureau in the Mullanpur street light scam.

Captain Sandeep Sandhu was also a Congress candidate in the by-election from Mullanpur Dakha assembly seat and was also a Congress candidate in the 2022 assembly elections.

Meanwhile, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu on Wednesday condemned the AAP government for vendetta politics and said cases were being registered against Congressmen one after the other out of political malice. The law and order has disturbed in Punjab. With the help of the police administration, gangsters are openly fleeing after killing people. The drug trade is going on openly from jails.

But AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are diverting the attention of the people of Punjab from the above problems and winning the elections of Himachal and Gujarat by filing false cases against senior leaders including former Congress ministers and MLAs, Bittu said.
