Ex-serviceman and his wife killed with sharp-edged weapons by robbers

An ex-serviceman and his wife were killed with sharp-edged weapons by robbers in a densely populated area of Harike Pattan town around 1.30 am last night. According to the information, three robbers entered the house of ex-armyman Sukhdev Singh, who was also a sitting panchayat member, at night and killed Sukhdev Singh and his wife Rajbir Kaur with sharp weapons, while his daughter and daughter-in-law were locked in the room. The robbers also took away Sukhdev Singh’s rifle and four gold rings from the house. Due to this gruesome incident, there is an atmosphere of harmony in the town.
