Newly married girl commits suicide

 A newly married woman at Handia village in Barnala committed suicide on Friday. 

Deceased has been identified as Amandeep Kaur (25). Victim’s parents accused her husband Narinder Singh, a resident of Handia, for coercing her to commit suicide last night as her in-laws were harassing her for dowry. 

Police have registered a case against five people, including her husband on charges of abetment to suicide.
