Naib Tehsildar recruitment scam: Two arrested, including youth who secured second position

Punjab E News: The Patiala Police have arrested two persons, including a person who came in second position in the Naib Tehsildar recruitment scam. According to sources, he has been identified as Balraj Singh. Balraj Singh had secured the second position in the examination, the results of which were declared by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in October. The second arrested person is Varinderpal Chaudhary, who came in 21st place in the merit list.

Balraj had earlier failed in two examinations conducted by the PPSC. “During interrogation, he confessed that he had struck a deal to get a job through a Haryana-based racket.”
