Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann issued a fresh order to curb VIP culture. Under this, the Chief Minister has now banned all ministers, MLAs and government officials from staying in expensive and luxurious hotels. Instead, all of them will now have to stay in government guest houses.

According to the Chief Minister, these orders will not only curb VIP culture but also reduce the expenses of the state government.
Due to which there would be an additional burden on the state exchequer, he said that whenever any minister, MLA and officer go to the field, they will have to stay in the circuit house or the government guest house.
