Students are the future of Punjab, Will spearhead the state and country: Educatin Minister

Punjab E News:  With the aim of getting best results from government schools students in board examination 2023, Punjab State School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains today kicked off ‘Mission-100%: Give Your Best’.

  The motive of this campaign is to encourage the students to attain best results during 8th, 10th and 12th class board exams and prepare them as eminent citizens of the future by removing the fear of exams from their minds.

    The Cabinet Minister, along with a team of senior officials of the department, on Saturday addressed millions of people of Punjab through a live program on social media platforms Facebook, YouTube and Eduset, during which he also shared future plans to rejuvenate the education sector.

    Speaking on this occasion Harjot Bains said that students are the future of Punjab and these students will lead the state as well as the country in future. He said that no stone left unturned to revamp up the school education of Punjab with introduction of unique interesting methods and students & teachers to be motivated to exhibit good results.

  Under the ‘Mission-100%: Give Your Best’ campaign, three groups to be formed on the basis of students studying in board class, out of which the first group will cover those students who have scored less than 40% marks during weekly tests, while the second group will comprise those who gained between 40 to 80% marks besides the third group will contain those students who excelled with 80% marks during weekly tests. Buddy groups would also be formed with inclusion of weak and bright students. In order to achieve the desired results of the mission, the teachers will conduct special classes before or after the zero period or school hours according to their convenience. The School Education Minister also announced to give Appreciation Letters to teachers and school heads who will render excellent services by implementing this mission in its true spirit.

    On this occasion DGSE Varinder Kumar Sharma, DPI Tejdeep Singh Saini, Director SCERT Dr. Maninder Singh Sarkaria and the Nodal Officer of this campaign Balwinder Singh Saini were also present.
