Ex-CM O P Soni fails to appear before vigilance office, seeks more time

Chandigarh: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Om Prakash Soni himself did not appear before the Vigilance. His nephew Vikas Soni has sought a week’s time to reach the SSP vigilance office.

Soni himself had appeared on Tuesday where he was questioned for about two-and-a-half hours at the Vigilance office on the charge of amassing assets disproportionate to his income and was given seven days to submit his proforma. O P Soni’s nephew Vikas Soni appeared before the vigilance along with the lawyer today and sought time for Soni to appear before the Vigilance team.
