Acid attack victim still in ICU, women’s commission sends notice to two e-commerce companies

New Delhi: The 17-year-old victim of an acid attack in Delhi is still admitted to the Burns ICU of Safdarjung Hospital and is conscious. Two masked men on a motorcycle threw acid on a school-going girl in west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued notices to two e-commerce companies for the sale of acid in connection with the acid attack.
The police have arrested three accused in the case. A case of purchase of acid through the e-commerce portal by the main accused has come to light.
