Mother Dairy hikes milk prices by Rs 2 per litre from tomorrow

New Delhi: Mother Dairy has decided to increase milk prices by Rs 2 per litre in the Delhi-NCR market from Tuesday, citing increase in input costs. This is the fifth round of hike in milk prices this year by Mother Dairy, one of the leading milk suppliers that supplies more than 30 lakh litres of milk daily in Delhi-NCR.

Mother Dairy has increased the price of full-cream milk by Rs 2 to Rs 66 per liter, while the rate of toned milk has been increased from Rs 51 to Rs 53 per liter. The price of double-tone milk has been increased from Rs 45 per liter to Rs 47 per liter.
The increase in milk prices will affect the household budget of the people. Mother Dairy attributed the rise in prices to the increase in the company’s procurement cost of raw milk from dairy farmers. The new rates will come into effect from December 27, 2022 in Delhi NCR.
