Power Minister hints action against protesting PCS officers, employees

Chandigarh: Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO today arrived here to inaugurate street lights on the road leading to Bhagwan Valmiki Teerth. Talking to reporters on the occasion, he said there had been a long-standing demand for installation of street lights on the cold road route as it was the holy route that leads to Lord Valmiki Tirtha.

He said that today this work has been completed by his government. Talking about the issue of PCS officers going on strike on the occasion, he said that the Mann government would not tolerate corruption and corruption in Punjab at any cost. He said strict legal action would be taken against anyone who joins the protest.
