Social Security Department places 45 clerks as Junior Assistants in Higher Scale including eight disabled employees

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to the welfare of every section of the society of which the employees constitute a very important part. In keeping with this, 45 clerks of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department were placed as Junior Assistants in the higher scale today. These comprise 8 Divyang (Differently Abled) employees.

Stating this, the Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that among the clerks who have completed 5 years of regular service and are working in the department with a ratio of 50:50, and have passed the Punjabi type test have been placed as Junior Assistants in the higher scale.

Congratulating the employees, Dr. Baljit Kaur exhorted the newly placed employees to work with dedication and honesty. “The department works for the welfare of people from different sections of the society. Therefore, it is the duty of the employees to perform their duty with due diligence and honesty”, said the Minister.
