Government announces first price hike in five years for British passports

London: For the first time in five years, the UK government is going to implement the new passport fee for all applications from February 2023. The change in prices, which will come into effect from February 2, will affect those who are renewing or applying for a new passport.

Fees for a standard online application made from within the UK will be increased from £75.50 to £82.50 for adults and £49 to £53.50 for children. Postal applications for adults will range from 85 pounds to 93 pounds and for children from 58.50 pounds to 64 pounds.
