Special Cell arrests accomplices of terrorist Landa from Amritsar

Punjabenews: During the ongoing operation against the terrorist-gangster nexus, Rajan Bhatti, a close associate of Punjab’s most notorious and wanted gangster and fugitive Landa Harike, has been arrested by the CI, Special Cell.

It may be recalled that Rajan Bhatti has more than 15 criminal cases registered against him and has been booked under FIR 06/2022, 153, 153-A, 120-B IPC, 25 Arms Act, PSSSOC SAS Nagar, Mohali, P.B. Nagar, P.B. Nagar, Mohali.
This FIR of Punjab is related to target killing and disturbing communal harmony in Punjab on the directions of Landa Harike and Harvinder Singh Rinda.
On the basis of disclosures and technical analysis made by accused Rajan Bhatti, Kanwaljit Singh alias Chhina r/o Makhu, Ferozepur, Punjab was also arrested during a joint operation with Punjab Police.
Accused Rajan Bhatti used to give the drugs and weapons left by drones in Punjab to Chhina to receive and distribute them further.
Landa Harike had also tasked Rajan and Chhina with the task of eliminating two targets in Punjab.
The accused Chhina along with an accomplice was nabbed near Didar Hotel, Beas, Amritsar Rural. The concerned local police was informed and a team of Police Station Beas, Amritsar Rural along with a team of Delhi Police reached for a joint raid.
