ASI dies in road accident after hit by Mini Truck in Kapurthala

Punjabenews: A Punjab Police ASI was killed in a road accident after being hit by a mini truck in Kapurthala on Tuesday.

Deceased ASI Malkeet Singh was on duty near DC office Chowk when the accident took place.
He was hit by a vehicle and taken to hospital for treatment. The ASI was seriously injured. He was first admitted to the local civil hospital by the police personnel for treatment. In view of his critical condition, he was referred to a private hospital in the city for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, accused has fled from the spot and police is looking for unidentified accused.
