London: A British-Indian man has been convicted of killing his father with a champagne bottle two years ago in a drunken and angry state.

On the evening of October 30, 2021, 54-year-old Dikan Singh Vij murdered his 86-year-old father Arjan Singh Vij at his home in Southgate, North London. The quantum of sentence will be pronounced by the court on February 10.
