Economic Survey 2022-23 presented in Lok Sabha: India’s economy to grow at 6.5% in 2023-24

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey for the financial year 2022-23 in the Lok Sabha today. It claimed that the country’s economy will grow at a rate of 6.5 per cent in 2023-24, while it will grow at the rate of 7 per cent in the current financial year.

In the last financial year, the growth rate was 8.7 percent. India will continue to be the fastest growing economy in the world, the survey said.
