Vigilance raid continues at OP Soni’s properties on second day

Punjabenews: The Vigilance Bureau has intensified the investigation against former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and Congress leader Om Prakash Soni. A team of vigilance department from Chandigarh has reached Amritsar for investigation. The team has also assessed the property while examining the property papers of OP Soni.

The vigilance team measured Om Prakash Soni’s Hotel Sarovar Portico. The vigilance team is probing the immovable and movable properties on charges of disproportionate assets. It may be recalled that a vigilance team had reached the farmhouse of former Deputy Chief Minister O P Soni yesterday and inspected the farmhouse.
In December 2022, a notice was served by the Vigilance Bureau at the residence of the former deputy chief minister. It asked him to furnish income related information and details. In this, it was said to investigate the income from 2017 to 2022.
During this time, he was also asked about the details of his property.
