CM Bhagwant Mann to lay foundation stone of Fazilka drinking water scheme today

Chandigarh: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann to visit Fazilka today. He will lay the foundation stone of clean drinking water scheme in the border villages here.

The total cost of the scheme will be Rs 578.28 crore. Under this, clean water will be delivered through pipelines in a total of 122 villages.
The Punjab government has been making claims of supplying clean water in the state. Now 700 kilometers of pipeline will be laid through this project. This will provide clean drinking water to a total of 122 villages. CM Mann will lay the foundation stone of this scheme this afternoon.
The Punjab government has organized Punjab Investment Summit in Mohali on February 23-24 and held talks with big industrialists of the country and abroad regarding investment in the state.
CM Mann claimed that many industrialists have agreed to the investment treaty. This will not only strengthen the industrial sector but will also provide employment to lakhs of Punjabis.
