Deputy Commissioner inspects Kharar Civil Hospital

Aim of the Government is to provide quality health care facilities to the people -Deputy Commissioner

SAS Nagar:  While inspecting the Sub Divisional Hospital Kharar, Deputy Commissioner Ms. Ashika Jain, said that the renovation process of this hospital has started and the work of giving a new look to the hospital will start soon.


Ms. Ashika Jain, who arrived here today with a high-level team to inspect the building and equipment of the local hospital, said that the Punjab government is committed to provide quality health care facilities to the patients. Due to this, various government hospitals are being analysed.

The purpose of this is to find out the requirements as well as the deficiencies and weaknesses of the various government hospitals. She said that on the basis of this analysis, the work of renovating hospitals and purchasing equipment is being started so that better facilities can be provided to the people.
Ms. Ashika Jain said that the Punjab government has started a campaign to raise the standard of the infrastructure of hospitals to provide better health facilities to the people so that no person is deprived of health facilities. Renovation of this hospital includes facelift of building and equipping it with all necessary equipment.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also visited various wards and interacted with the patients. She also visited the medical store in the hospital and got information about the stock of medicines available there. She said that the government is providing essential medicines to the patients.
On the occasion ADC (UD) Mr. Damanjit Singh, SDM Kharar Mr. Ravinder Singh, Senior Officers of Health, Public Works and Public Health were present.
