After Punjab, now arms licences of two associates of Amritpal Singh cancelled in Jammu and Kashmir

Chandigarh: Pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh and his associates continue to be clamped down by the Punjab Police and security agencies. Now the Jammu and Kashmir administration has decided to take action against Amritpal’s associate. The local police have cancelled the arms licenses of two associates of Amritpal.

The deputy commissioners of Ramban and Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir said that the licenses of weapons issued by two associates of Amritpal Singh have been canceled. These include Varinder Singh, a retired soldier from 19 Sikh regiments, and Talwinder Singh, a retired soldier from 23 armoured Punjab. Earlier, Varinder was arrested by the Punjab Police. On Thursday, The Punjab Police had detained Gurinder Singh, a close aide of Amritpal. He was trying to flee the country to London.
A lookout notice had already been issued against him, so it was difficult for him to leave the country anyway. Gurinder Singh has been detained by the Punjab Police from Guru Ramdas Airport. Now this action has come after a few days ago it was ordered that the arms licenses of nine close associates of Amritpal be canceled.
