Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker releases Souvenir of Indian Journalist Union

Chandigarh: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan released the Souvenir of Indian Journalist Union here at Punjab Bhawan.

Around 20 states’ journalists led by National President of Indian Journalists Union Srinivas Reddy, who reached Chandigarh to discuss the challenges to media fraternity and finding their appropriate solutions during two day meet, called on the Speaker.

Appreciating the journalists facing challenges every day, S. Sandhwan said that journalists play important role in creating an equal and prosperous society. He assured the journalists that he always stands by those, who raise voice for free & fair journalism. Meanwhile, journalists from different states express gratitude towards the Punjab government and the people of the state for their support.
