Four produced in Amritsar’s Baba Bakala court, remanded in custody till March 23; Amritpal still absconding

Punjab News: The Punjab Police is continuously conducting search operations in search of Amritpal Singh, head of Waris Punjab De. On Monday, the court has decided to send 4 of his associates to police custody.

Jammu and Kashmir police chief Dilbag Singh has claimed that the ‘Waris Punjab De’ outfit of pro-Khalistan Amritpal Singh has procured some weapons from Jammu and Kashmir and all help will be given to the Punjab Police in this matter.
Delhi VHP working president Alok Kumar said that taking action against such elements shows the will and commitment of the Punjab government. Everyone should rise above politics and send a message that the country cannot allow anyone to burn Punjab in the fire of terrorism again.
Officials investigating the Amritpal case claim that the ISI has a hand in advancing the head of the Waris Punjab De. The ISI is still instigating Khalistani supporters to garner support for Amritpal, who is still absconding.
