PM Modi holds review meeting amid rising COVID-19 cases

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chaired a high-level meeting amid rising COVID-19 cases again in the country.

Home Minister Amit Shah, Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Health Bharati Pravin Pawar, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, ICMR’s Rajiv Bahl, NITI Aayog’s V K Paul, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla were among those who held a high-level review meeting on Wednesday. PMO officials and others were present. 
Corona cases are increasing in the country for the last few days. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning, 1134 new cases have been confirmed. After this, the number of active cases has increased to 7026.
