Poonch-Jammu highway terror attack: CM Bhagwant Mann expresses grief over the incident

Chandigarh: An Army vehicle caught fire on the Poonch-Jammu highway yesterday in which four soldiers of Punjab have been martyred in the terrorist attack. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed grief by tweeting.
He wrote that five soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles, four soldiers from Punjab were martyred in the terrorist attack. The keepers of the borders remain immortal. May God give strength to the family. My salute to the martyrs.
An Army vehicle caught fire on the Poonch-Jammu highway yesterday. The army has described it as a terrorist attack. Five Army personnel were killed when an Army truck caught fire in Poonch district, PRO Defence Jammu said. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has briefed Defence Minister Rajnath Singh about the incident. “Unidentified militants opened fire on an Army vehicle moving between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The vehicle caught fire due to a possible grenade attack from the militants.”
According to the Army, five soldiers of the Rashtriya Rifles unit deployed for counter-terrorist operations in the region were killed in the incident. Another critically injured jawan was immediately rushed to army hospital in Rajouri where he is undergoing treatment.
