Revenue officers postponed strike after meeting with Punjab government 

Chandigarh: A day after announcing a mass strike in all tehsils and sub-tehsils of the state, the revenue officials postponed their strike after meeting with the government. 
     Officials of The Punjab Revenue Officers’ Association, said that Naib Tehsildar Jagtar Singh of Maur Mandi, Bathinda, has been wrongly suspended, due to which there was a huge resentment among the revenue officials. Revenue officials were declared May 22 as a mass holiday but it has now been withdrawn as the government has assured to address the demands of the union.
