Chandigarh: The Drugs Control Administration has ordered 11 pharmaceutical companies located in the industrial area of Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh and Sirmaur and Kangra districts to stop production of medicines. Lapses were found in the functioning of these companies during a recent inspection.
State Drug Controller Navneet Marwaha said 29 pharmaceutical companies have been inspected in the last two months. Notices have also been issued to 18 of these companies.
