Setting example of harmony: Muslim painters decorate Parkash Purb celebration venue in Panipat

Punjab E News (Chandigarh):- Setting an example of communal harmony, a group of 26-member Muslim people have worked dawn to dusk to prepare a painting of "Ik Onkar" (there is only one God) for the state-level function to be held to commemorate the 400th Parkash Purb of Guru Teg Bahadur in Panipat.

  From decorating 'Ek Onkar’ in pandal, main entrance gate, stage and backdrop highlighted this religious festivity. 

   Mohammad Gulfam , who has been leading the team of 26 painters said that art knows no religion and we work in temples, Gurdwaras and mosques everywhere. 

  "My team is working with reverence continuously for past 18-19 hours to decorate the pandal, main entrance gate, stage and backdrop set up at the function," he added.
