SGPC launches web channel; Gurbani broadcast from July 24
Amritsar News: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has started its web channel for the broadcast of gurbani kirtan at Sri Harmandir Sahib. SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami launched the channel through a laptop. Its live telecast was shown for some time. The channel will start airing Gurbani and Kirtan from July 24. The channel was started by offering bhog of Shri Akhand Path as per Gurmat tradition.
Later, a special function was held at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall. SGPC president Advocate Dhami congratulated the sangat on the launch of the channel and said that soon its own satellite channel would also be launched. He disclosed that PTC will continue to broadcast gurbani kirtan as before till it starts its own satellite channel.
