‘It is impossible for BJP to win now’: Rahul Gandhi after INDIA alliance meeting
New Delhi: The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India), an opposition alliance, on Friday formed a 13-member committee comprising prominent leaders of several parties.
This coordination committee will act as the highest body of the alliance.
It was also agreed in the meeting that the work of arrangement of seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be completed by September 30.
The meeting also approved the theme of ‘Judega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat’ and four major committees were constituted.
Meanwhile, at the ‘Bharat’ alliance meeting in Mumbai, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “Two very big steps have been taken today. If the parties come together at this stage, it is impossible for the BJP to win the elections. The biggest task before us is to come together in the most efficient way.
“The formation of a coordination committee and the decision to expedite discussions on seat sharing… Two steps are necessary to ensure that the ‘Bharat’ alliance defeats the BJP. “
