Farmers’ rail roko protest: 111 trains running between Haryana, Punjab and Delhi canceled; more than 50 routes diverted

Punjab News: In Punjab, 19 farmer organisations from six north Indian states launched a three-day rail roko agitation from Thursday. Farmers’ organisations have blocked trains at 12 places, including Amritsar, Jalandhar Cantt and Tarn Taran, causing inconvenience to railway passengers. 
       Trains running between Haryana, Punjab and Delhi have also been affected.
        However, the Railways has already cancelled 111 trains, diverted more than 50 trains. Railways have diverted the route of train-11058 (ASR-CSMT Express) running from Amritsar Junction to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
       Now the train will come from Ludhiana via Sirhind Junction instead of Ludhiana, Dhuri Junction and Ambala (LDH-DUI-UMB).
