Chargesheet against AIG Rachpal in Mohali court

After investigating a case related to drug trafficking, the CBI has filed a charge sheet against 10 police personnel, including STF AIG Rachpal Singh, in a special court. 

Apart from AIG Rachpal Singh, inspector Sukhwinder Singh, sub-inspectors Prabhjit Singh and Balwinder Singh, SHO Kulwinder Singh, SHO Surjit Singh, SHO Kulbir Singh, SHO Beant Singh, Kulwant Singh and Havildar Hira Singh have been named in the charge sheet.

The case dates back to 2017. Balwinder Singh of Amritsar was picked up by STF Amritsar police from Civil Hospital Patti on August 3, 2017. He was later booked for heroin. 1 kg on it. Heroin was put in. He was also accused of procuring heroin from Pakistan. The names of three other accused were added to the case. Balwinder then appealed to the High Court to investigate the case.
