2-day session of Punjab Assembly begins: Uproar likely over SYL and debt issues

Chandigarh News: The two-day session of the Punjab Assembly began today. The proceedings of the session are taking place in the Punjab Assembly by paying homage to the deceased senior politicians. Meanwhile, tributes have been paid to Amritpal Singh, who was shot dead in an accident in Jammu and Kashmir on the border of India bedsides many other personalities. 
      At the same time, tributes have also been paid to the soldiers who were martyred while serving in different states. 
       Today’s session is expected to be stormy. Opposition Congress and Akali Dal have already chalked out a strategy to corner the government over the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, drugs and loans raised by Governor Banwarilal Purohit. At the same time, Governor Banwarilal Purohit has already declared this session illegal.
