Punjab jails to be equipped with AI cameras by April 2024
Mohali News: All the Punjab jails will now be equipped with AI cameras by April 2024.
Police will now keep a direct watch on prisoners and suspicious activities in Punjab jails. If there is any action, the police will get an alert immediately in this regard. After this, the police will be able to take appropriate steps towards stopping him in time. This is going to be possible with the project to strengthen the security circle of Punjab’s jails.
There are 26 jails in Punjab. There are also some central jails. There are about 30,000 prisoners. Now AI cameras will monitor these jails. These cameras will be monitored from the Control and Command Center.
