35 Sewa Kendras dispose 99.98 percent applications in one-year Jalandharites file 357930 applications in Sewa Kendras

Jalandhar News: Reiterating the firm commitment of state government to provide citizen centric services to people in a time bound and hassle free manner through Sewa Kendras, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal asked all Sewa Kendras to ensure timely disposal and maintain zero pendency.

     After virtual-conference of Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, the Deputy Commissioner told the SDMs to review day to day functioning of all 35 Sewa Kendras of the district. He said that 357930 applications were filed by the residents of the district of which 99.98 percent cleared by these centres in one-year. He told the management of Sewa Kendras to immediately clear remaining 6483 applications to facilitate the applicants.
        The Deputy Commissioner also announced that administration would do strict monitoring of the working of Sewa Kendras and added that he would personally check the progress of Sewa Kendras. He said that zero tolerance policy would be adopted against any sort of inordinate delay by Sewa Kendras in providing efficient citizen centric services to people in a time bound manner. He said that stern action would be taken against the management of Sewa Kendras if they fail in their duty.
