Reservation Chor Phaddo-Pakka Morcha Ends Blockade at Mohali after the Intervention of Punjab CM

SAS Nagar: The leaders of ‘Reservation Chor Phaddo-Pakka Morcha’ have announced to end their Mohali Dharna in the presence of Local Government Minister Balkar Singh who visited them today as an envoy of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

     The 195 day long blockade outside Directorate of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department, Punjab at old DC Office, Phase 1, Mohali ended as protesters handed over a demand charter to the Minister Balkar Singh to fix a meeting of higher authorities on this issue in the coming days.

     The Minister Balkar Singh assured the leaders including President Professor Harnek Singh of the legitimate action on their demand charter. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has directed him to meet the leaders and convey them of the justice to be done on merit.

      Local Government Minister said that the demand charter is based on 12 demands that would be discussed with the concerned authorities shortly by inviting the leaders of the Pakka Morcha. He said the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government is firm to take action as per the course of law and no one would be spared if found guilty.
     Reiterating commitment of the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government, the local government minister, said that the Chief Minister’s vision is very much clear towards safeguarding the interests of every Punjabi. He said the Government has set a record by giving about 40,000 jobs in its first and half year stint, that too on merit. He assured the leaders of the front to take appropriate action against the abusers of reservation and to find a permanent solution so that such a problem does not arise in the future.
