Ex-minister Sunder Sham Arora’s bail plea rejected
Punjab E News: The district court has dismissed a plea seeking regular bail filed by former cabinet minister Sunder Sham Arora in a bribery case.
Arora was sent to judicial custody by the court on October 19. He then moved for regular bail on November 11.
The Punjab Vigilance Bureau opposed the plea, saying accused Arora may influence the investigating officers. He can interfere in the investigation.
On the plea of Vigilance, the court rejected the bail application. After this, Arora’s lawyer has filed a fresh bail application in the district court, which will now be heard on November 23.
