Farmers’ protest continues for the second day in Punjab, Read farmers’ demands
Punjab E News: Farmers across Punjab held protests against the Punjab government and in several districts of the state, various farmer organisations staged sit-in against the government.
During this time, the farmers blocked the road at many places, due to which the commuters had to face a lot of problems. Farmers are continuing their sit-in sit-ins in Mansa, Talwandi Sabo, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and Faridkot.
The common people are facing problems due to the sit-in protest. At the same time, meetings are being held by the administration.
The main demands of the farmer leaders are:
Farmers burning stubble demand to remove red entry from fard.
7277 quintals of moong was sold up to a fixed price of Rs 4,000, bonus given to the farmers.
Bonus was given for low yield of wheat.
Arrears of lakhs of rupees of sugarcane mills should be released.
Compensation for the loss of wheat caused by the China virus.
Compensation for cotton damaged by white insects and artificial seeds.
Compensation for thousands of cows who died of lumpy skin disease.
The families of the martyred farmers should be given jobs and other compensation.
