Chandigarh: Keeping in mind the safety of children due to smog in many districts of Punjab, the Education Department has changed the timings of all government, aided, recognized and private schools.
Now the schools will open from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. The order will come into effect from Monday. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given this information by putting a post on social media.
He said the step was taken on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. This order will be applicable in all primary, middle, high and senior secondary schools.
