Indian stock market sets new record
New Delhi: Domestic equity markets continued to rise for the seventh straight day today and hit new peaks on the back of inflows by foreign investors and easing crude oil prices.
The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 303.25 points, or 0.44 per cent, to a new record high of 69,599.39. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty rose 100.05 points, or 0.48 per cent, to a new all-time high of 20,955.15.
