St. Joseph’s Convent Cant Road shines in State Special Olympics Games

Ludhiana: Punjab State Special Olympics Games were organized at Guru Nanak Public School Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana from 18th to 20th November.

In this tournament, 16 Special Athletes from St. Joseph’s Convent Cant Road Jalandhar participated and clinched 13 Gold Medals, 09 Silver Medals, and 08 Brown medals.
Athletics of St. Joseph’s Convent School won Medal in Long Jump, Badminton, Relay Race, 100m Run, 50m Walk, Shot Put, Soft Ball Throw, Wheel Chair Race.
Sister Archana Principal, Sister Soma, Sister Persona, Sister Kiran, School Staff and Parents welcomed and congratulated all the players.
On the assembly stage of the school, the players were awarded medals, warm blankets and bicycle.
Meanwhile, Special Educator Navjot Saroop, Sports Educator Rekha Kashyap, Akansha Sharma and Helper Farima were also honored by the school.
