Chandigarh mayoral polls postpones: Congress to move court ahead of polls

Chandigarh: The election of the mayor was postponed after a huge ruckus in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, after which the election of the mayor will not be held today.

The reason for the absence of the election is being said to be deteriorating the health of the presiding officer, but the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress have accused the BJP of not holding the election.

Both the opposition parties say that this bullying has been done and they were not allowed to enter the corporation itself.
