Punjab government set to inaugurate 125 more Aam Aadmi Clinics, CM Mann to dedicate to public on Jan 26

Chandigarh: The Punjab government is set to dedicate approximately 125 new Aam Aadmi Clinics to the public on Republic Day, January 26. Currently, 112 of these clinics have been completed, with doctors, pharmacists, and lab assistants already deployed. Upon the clinics’ commencement, the designated staff will assume their responsibilities.

Previously, 644 mohalla clinics were established in the state, benefiting the public.

Additionally, Punjab’s healthcare model has garnered international attention. Mohalla clinics are slated to open in various districts, including 10 in Amritsar, 9 in Bathinda, 3 in Faridkot, 2 in Ferozepur, 6 in Gurdaspur, 10 in Jalandhar, 4 in Kapurthala, 16 in Ludhiana, 3 in Moga, 3 in Pathankot, 7 in Patiala, 8 in Sangrur, 2 in SBS Nagar, 2 in Sri Muktsar Sahib, and 11 in Tarn Taran.

These clinics, in their final stages of completion, will offer comprehensive facilities, providing significant relief to the public by eliminating the need for them to seek treatment aggressively.
