ED conducts raids in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal pradesh in Hooda refund scam case

Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today carried out searches in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula and Himachal Pradesh as part of its probe into a money laundering case related to an alleged fake refund scam in the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).

Officials of the Federal Investigation Agency are carrying out searches at around 18 locations in these cities, the sources said. Raids are also being conducted at a place in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Sources said the probe is probing the alleged Rs 70 crore fake refund scam at HUDA.
