After facing backlash, Punjab Police gives 72-hour to people to remove objectionable content from their Social Media handles

Chandigarh: After facing backlash from people for registering FIR against 10-year-old boy and others for uploaded photos with guns, the Punjab Police has given 72 hours to people to delete their previously uploaded objectionable photos.

The Punjab Police will not register any FIR for three days.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on twitter that appeal to Everyone to voluntarily remove any objectionable content from their Social Media handles in the next 72 hours.
CM Punjab has directed that no FIRs for glorifying weapons will be registered for the next 3 days in Punjab to allow people to remove content on their own.
