7-year-old girl raped in Rupnagar village, admitted to PGI

Chandigarh: A 7-year-old girl was raped in a village in Rupnagar. After first aid, she was referred to PGI, Chandigarh.

The child has a deep wound above her eye. ADC Pooja Sayal reached the spot on behalf of the administration.

She said that considering the condition of the girl, she has been referred to PGI and a case has also been registered by the police. Inspector Jasmine said a case has been registered. A police team has been sent to the spot and accused to be arrested soon.
