4 dead, including 2 girls, in residential building fire in Delhi’s Shahdara

New Delhi: Two girls and their parents died of suffocation after a massive fire broke out in a residential building in Shastri Nagar area of Shahdara in the wee hours today, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Manoj (30), his wife Suman (28), two girls, aged five and three, police said. The building where the fire broke out has four floors and a car parking lot on the ground floor, police said. The fire started from the parking lot and smoke spread throughout the building.
