Day after joining BJP, AAP Jalandhar MLA Angural sends resignation notice to Speaker
Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Jalandhar West Sheetal Angural has resigned from his post. He has sent his resignation letter to Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwa today. Angural joined the BJP along with AAP MP Sushil Kumar Rinku at the BJP office in Delhi on Wednesday.
After he joined the BJP, Aam Aadmi Party workers in Jalandhar raised fierce slogans outside his house and was called a traitor of the party.
Following this, the district police registered a case against unidentified people for staging a sit-in and damaging government property.
Meanwhile, posting his resignation, he also attacked the Punjab government and accused it of looting government exchequer.
