Supreme Court grants bail to AAP MP Sanjay Singh after spending 6 months in jail
New Delhi: In the Delhi Liquor Scam case, Sanjay Singh has now got bail after 6 months from the Supreme Court. The court said that the trial court will decide the conditions of bail. This bail will not be considered a precedent.
The ED also did not oppose the bail and said he can be granted bail. Now Sanjay Singh will be able to do political activities.
In the previous hearing, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Sanjay Singh, had said that Dinesh Arora, the main witness of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), had not named Sanjay Singh in his 9 statements earlier. Sanjay Singh was arrested a year and a half later.
