Sacrilege attempt at Gurdwara Sahib in Ludhiana, accused arrested

Chandigarh: A case of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib has come to light in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The sangat nabbed the sacrilege person on the spot. People beat the mischievous person and later handed over to the police.

People immediately informed the police of police station division number 4.

Police said that today being the festival of Baisakhi, langar was organized in Gurudwara Sahib. The mischievous person disguised as a sangat entered the Gurudwara Sahib. The accused attempted sacrilege with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

On the spot, people overpowered the mischievous person. The person is yet to be identified.

According to the circumstances of the spot, the young man seems to be in some intoxication. The police is registering an FIR in this case.
